 The Dewlap
My anoles especially the bigger male anole. Shows his dewlap. I dont know why he does this i was just siiting on my bed about 5 feet away from the cage and i saw him with his dewlap out why? I have in my cage a male and female they get along great. I just dont unerstand why they do this when there is nothing bothering them.Thanks

They show their dewlaps for several reasons.
One of the most common is to attract a female.
From what you said I would say thats what he is doing.

mine also shows his off when hes warming up in the morining, as does my beardy, i think its a way of themwarming up quicker.
