Anoles with alligator lizards i have 5 anoles and 4 red eyed tree frogs in a 70gallon viv. it has a very naturalistic looking waterfall and soil substrate. i have been looking for some kind of skink or grass lizard to mix in with them and so visited my pet shop yesterday and fell in love with an alligator lizard. i was wondering wether i could mix in an alligator lizard or wether the 2 species would fight or give each other parasites. the guy at the pet shop they wouldnt get on.

Anoles with alligator lizards definately, as long as your viv is large enough. mine is 95 gallon and has 5 anoles and 4 tree frogs. you need at least 10 gall. for each lizard and 5 gall. for each frog. a friend of mine housed his with whites tree frogs for a while but i wouldn’t recommend it as they could eat the anoles. i would also recommend getting a moonlight so you can see them at night as they do nothing except stick to the glass and leaves during the day.apparantly a successful tree frog viv needs to be over 2 1/2 ft high to allow gradients in hummidity and temp levels. my last viv was only 2 and they were alright. my new one is 3ft and when i have got it looking how i want and get my camera fixed ill post some photos.

Anoles with alligator lizards pricey, £30+ each. if they are in different tanks you could get whites tree frogs that are more handlable
