Should i handle my brown anoles!!!!!!!
 ive had my anoles like a day now and wonder if i should handle them but i hear there biters is that true??

Should i handle my brown anoles!!!!!!!  the second day i got my anoles i was handling them the big one was fine a little jumpy but he didnt bite. When i picked up my small one he bit me twice but i couldn’t feel it, it was like a little nibble.

Should i handle my brown anoles!!!!!!!  there really is no benafit to handling anoles. They don’t "enjoy" it and it stresses them. Can you do it, yes, will they possably become used to it, yes..do they derive any enjoyment or benafit from it, no. They do not tame, they are lizards...always wild animals. I can handfeed a squirl, it’s not tame...it’s a wild squirl. I would say don’t handle unless you have to....

Should i handle my brown anoles!!!!!!!  i agree with n2t, it stresses them out. an anole that spend is life stressed will not live as long as one content and safe. care sheet say they only live for three or four years. my oldest is (i think) nearly seven. this is because they have been left alone and apart from catching them in cricket tubs for cleaning i have not once handled any of my anoles. if you want a lizard that you can handle get a bearded dragon or a leopard gecko. if you want a pet that will keep you entertained with its natural jumpy, eratic often comical behaviour get some anoles.
