i have two anoles i have them in a small plastic cage................................my question is shold i buy a light for it ......................it seems to healthy to me it got done shedding yesterday and i bought an outher green anole 3 days ago

You need a bigger tank. Each anole needs 10 gallons. You do need lighting. A UVB light for calcium and a basking light. Temp in basking area needs to be anywhere from 85-90ºf. The cool side around 75ºf.

I would suggest a glass tank,As lizardman said 10 gallons for each anole.You definitely need a light because your anole can get a disease called metabolic bone disease.This disease is caused by lack of calcium,so the anoles body takes the calcium from other body parts.The symptoms include weak legs and a swollen jaw line.Anyway you really need the light and a bigger tank.Hope that helped.
