NO its probably being abused and beat up. (by others not u) and they might not let him get the chance to eat or drink
U might want to separate them.
Good Luck!

dont brown anoles tend to be faster and more robust and do the opposite(beat up on green anoles) at least thats what happens in petstores,im not sure because ive never owned brown anoles but it seems like it would be fine for awhile

I agree with you coolguy my sister’s bahaman was really agressive more then the green anoles and it always beat up on the green one we returned him for a female green anole

too bad they cant produce offspring together, green anole males have been known to mate with brown anole females in captivity, in fact i think that they can produce an egg but it is a dud

lol a dud?
thats funny
well i hope they dont cuz that means it will either be a really energetic green anole or a very lazy bahama anole so i will be sure to follow ur advice in the future

Trust me, NEVER intermix species in the same enclosure. Doing so can be detrimental for your herps. Each different species carries its own host of parasites that may be harmless to the one, but deadly if come into contact with the other. Overall, is it really worth the life of your reptiles to house the two together just because others do it and the books say its OK? NO. I highly recommend against it, and I would never in my right mind house two different species together. Just my two cents worth of advice to ya!

Oh, and yes, sure green anoles and brown anoles can breed, but they cannot produce viable offspring. Any eggs laid by the female of either species will be infertile.
