Then i noticed her moving her neck as if she was trying to get air every few min. I saw a pulse (not sure if they have them) LOL but there was like a heart beat by her arm. SO I plced her back in her cage i mist it up really good and turned her light on. Now i can see her breathing and she EVEN OPEND HER EYE!!! I was so happy. But she looks all shrivled up and sick. She is grean with some really bight green spots and then brown spots and around her eyes she is black in color. She really looks dead. But she is breathing now. Is she dying or can I help her. Oh please someone help me quick I want to save her if I can!!! Hurry please

Please help our baby! if she has a black area around her eye, that means she is stressed. Stress can kill the lizards if not quickly solved. She was probably not moving because she was scared, they also tend to close their eyes when scared because they think they are gonna die. just look at the caresheet and follow the instructions there of how to take care of them.make sure you do what it says

Please help our baby! yea, what he said. Also make sure she has UVB and her light is nice and hot like around low 90’s. And make sure she has plenty of water b/c they usually dont drink from the bowl they drink from the leaves when the water droplets come down. And when you turn her light on go to it slowly and if she is near something like where cats, dogs orl ittle kids can bang on her cage or something, put her somewhere "safe" from that. Like high up or away from action..right now at least. Calm her down. She is playing dead or is gonna die..either or.. Just dont stress her.. .like dont keep her light on for days or have loud music..esp if she is new.. Hope this works.. L~

Please help our baby! What kind of lighting do you have for your anole? Do you have a UVA/UVB flourescent strip or equivalent (either the ReptiSun 5.0 or Repti Glo 5.0 UVB bulbs with 30% UVA??) Do you have a basking light for warmth? What is the temp. and humidity in your cage? If you don’t know this you NEED a Thermometer and Hygrometer. What kinds of things are in your terrarium/aquarium? Do you have a lot of foliage for her to hide in and branches for her to climb that reach near the basking spot? What kind of substrate are you using? Also, make sure you do NOT have items like a heating rock or pad. They are semi-arboreal, so they LOVE to climb, and basically only go on the ground for hunting their prey, which is why I questioned about the plants and branches.

Please help our baby! To the original post, my anole was dehydrated, I would gently mist with just warm tap water, This is how I revived my first boy who was being chased a lot from the other male and had stopped eating! Of course I separated them, too.

Please help our baby! Please look at the care sheet. As I have told quite a few on here, there is really NO ROOM for shortcuts in an anole’s care. Any short cuts you take could cost them their life. You MUST have a UVB and a separate basking light. Mist 2-3 times daily. Do NOT keep the cage in direct sunlight by a window. This can heat the cage up very quickly and hardly any UVB rays will travel through the window and the tank itself. Another thing is the size of the enclosure. The MINIMUM is 10 gallons per anole.
Also, if you use sticks, etc. from outdoors you have to sterilize them in the oven on 250-300 for 30min after a quick rinse in water.
Again, please read the care sheet thoroughly! I cannot stress this enough.

Please help our baby!
Get some unflavored pedialyte and mix it 50/50 with water, administer with eye dropper. Also feed her meat babyfood with dropper as well. You may want to get to vet to check for parasites. Good luck!

Please help our baby! When I mentioned the pedialyte I meant to say feed her the pedialyte with the dropper. The pedialyte is NOT!!!! for her eyes but an eye dropper is an easy feeding tool. This will help with electrolytes loss from dehydration.

Please help our baby! To the thread owner: I noticed you wrote "I turned on her light", which is singular, so I am assuming you do not have a UVA/UVB light, get one ASAP.
