when you are discussing blue anoles make sure to use the species name. anolis roquet, anolis gorgona, anolis carolensis(blue phase green anole morph),etc. Anolis gorogna are illegal to remove from isla gorgona. If you are talking about reptilesncritters.com then do not use that site. It provides a contradictory page of a so called "blue anole" . they have a picture of a blue phase green anole and they emailed me saying that they are selling a blue phased green anole which would be anolis carolensis, however the site gives the name anolis roquet which is not the same but can be blue in appearance. the only truly legit site that i would consider you to trust is diamondreptile.com. they typically only recieve 5 blue phase green anoles per year so you will be on a waiting list. When they have one in stock it will be about $65.00 along with about $50.00 shipping which would be $110.00 just for one anole.

i wish that it was legit because it is ridiculously cheap to buy one on the site (15.00) i know lots of websites that sell reptiles but diamondreptile or lllreptile.com are the best. The downside to buying reptiles online is that because the shipping is overnight most of the time, it is really expensive like 40 to 50 dollars.

lllreptile.com is really good and has really low prices. a few weeks ago you could get a fogger, waterfall, and the pump to run it for 49.99 i think. (they were like 45.00 each at my petsmart) also for 31.99 you can buy a 65 gallon reptarium. Its a really cool mesh cage, its huge, easy to clean, and extremely light weight. My old anoles loved it but i accidentally broke mine.(not while they were in it)

yeah, i wanna buy one of those once i have a little more experience in general with other reptiles and chameleons. chameleons are harder to take care of than anoles. I own the 65 gallon reptarium(its kinda broken) even though its made for chameleons my old anoles love it and its cheap compared to a glass cage. Also it allows more air ventilation and uvb light can easily get through the mesh. its not like metal mesh.

Price Comparison-------------- 65 gallon reptarium with shipping included is about $40
----------------------------------40 gallon glass aquarium at petsmart is $99.99 plus tax

2/5 of the price and 25 gallons more (1.625 times more) space

the tanks go all the way up from 22 gallons to 260 gallons(only 103.99)

at that deal you could have 6.5 times the space of the 40 gallon at roughly the same price

the only problem with the reptarium is that because the entire cage is made of mesh you have to have a towel under the cage so the substrate doesnt go through the bottom. I did that for awhile until i had money to afford the "soft-tray liner" its a plastic tray that goes under the cage.

heres a link to the reptariumLink
