1) Insects that are brightly colored are so for a reason. They are either distasteful or toxic. It is called warning coloration. 2) Insects that are green, brown, or some other camoflage color are also so for a reason. They try to blend in with their surroundings because they are good food for predators. 3) In the case of caterpillers, if they have hairs, spines, or other defensive structures DON’T feed them to your Anole. Likewise, if they are brightly colored (see #1) DON’T feed them to your Anole. I’ll bump "Wild Caught Insects" for you. |
