My Knight Anole!!!

Hey guys, yesterday I purchased a healthy (i think its a female) knight anole. She is currently in a 65 gallon cage and I shall have pics of her up very soon. Her cage is full of plants and other stuff and she is doing fine so far!

I couldn’t view the pics you have posted. Louie has been ill with a nose/lip infection. I want to wish you the best of luck. Did you get it from a pet store? We had to order Louie on the internet.

i got mine from a petstore. I had been considering for months to buy one online until a petstore finally got 2 of em. Also, its a really good store, i dont buy animals at petsmart anymore becuase they take terrible care of them. Thats weird that you cant see the pics though

yeah, thanks.. Its strange. Ive had her for several days now and she has yet to eat crickets. She eats moths ironically. She just stares at crickets as they crawl by. Im going to call the petstore and ask what they fed her. Her name is Margarita.

yup. They are A LOT BIGGER than greens and browns. Theoretically, they grow up to 19 3/8 inches max. Ive heard that they mostly mature a bit smaller than that though. In Florida, smaller anoles can be a part of their diet(aka i wouldnt dream of housing it with my other anoles) Right now shes in a 65 gallon. they need quite a bit more space than green and brown anoles. On another topic, i was angered when i went to a reptile zoo last weekend. There was a large cage with a knight anole in it....along with several unfit residents with him including a frilled dragon, chinese water dragon, veiled chameleon, and some sort of toad on the base of the cage. While they were all healthy(very) surprisingly enough, I would never do a cage such as that
