 Introducing a male

I think in the next couple weeks we’ll be getting a male anole to live with our two females. My question is: should he be bigger/smaller than my female or about the same size? I’m not really worried about him bullying the females... they have PLENTY of space if they want to ignore him.

lol that’s what I figured but I just wanted to make sure as I am no expert.
Someone else also told me that I should quarantine him for 30 days in his own tank before putting him in with the females.. But I just don’t have one or the $ to get one. Is that REALLY necessary if it’s coming from the same pet store as my bahama brown?
