 Moulting/shedding

ok i have a question....im a little newer at owning anoles...ive always done the bigger reptiles...
what do brown anoles look like when shedding??
one of mine shed the other day and i geuss i missed it untill the end when she was rubbing the bits of her nose
my other one looks weird...i should take a pic but lazyness has hit me and i dont wanna go find the camera...white splotches
anyways any sudgestions would be awsome

I’ve read that anoles don’t really shed their skin whole like snakes. It comes off in pieces, and then they usually eat it for the source of minerals. For an example of what they tend to look like when they go through this, you can go to images.google.com and type in: "brown anole" shedding OR molting

I figured that when my anoles are shedding, it is because they are growing and healthy. Any comments?

Definitely means that they are growing. Their skin can’t grow with them so the old skin is replaced by new skin, and the old skin sheds.
