 Broad or Narrow leaves
Does anybody know whether any one has prefirmed the expierimentof whether anoles like to drink water from narrow or broad leaves better. If someone could let me know that would be great!

I think that in my opinion the anoles will prefer the narrow leaves as I have not owned one (yet!!!) I could not swear by it. They I think will like the narrow leaves because they have small mouths and the droplets of water that collect will be smaller. Also they will be easier for the only to get less water at one time which they do not like standing water so that makes the most sense at least to me.

They have no preference and will even drink droplets off the sides of the enclosure.

think about it this way. in the wild... what do they drink? water droplets off leaves & such. Definitely not juice or milk, though they occasionally do drink nectar from certain flowers. they have no preference for leaf size really. Though, my green anole prefers the new leaves on their pothos plant. The new leaves that are still a little curled. She climbs right in there like a little cocoon and sleeps. it’s so cute!

How old is your anole? You talk about her as though she is not your first, how many have you had? Any suggestions on where to find the type of plants you mentoined and do they require a lot of care? Let me know.

I honestly do not know how old my anoles are. The plant that I have in their enclosure is called Pothos. You can get it at home depot or any other such store. Just be sure to wash the roots and leaves off thoroughly before planting it in the enclosure.
