Here’s updated photos of Daisy & Oswald’s new enclosure. I’ll be getting another large fake tropical bush for the right side as well as 2 thermometers (basking/not basking) and a humidity gauge today. The large plant on the left side is real.

I got my two anoles a UVB flourecent bulb today and a thermometer hydrogmeter the temps are great and the humidity is also good i am happy.

On the 10th we’ll be getting a male, and possibly another female brown. It’s illegal in my area to have a green anole (because they’re local here in GA) so I’ll be releasing her also on the 10th. I just cannot think of where. She seems to be doing so much better since we got her. She was so thin when my husband found her. He does HVAC and brought some old units home to tear apart & recycle and found her on one of them. So we can’t put her back where he found her.
Any ideas of where to release her? I’ve looked all over my property and haven’t found a single anole or evidence of any. So I don’t think here is a good option. I was thinking by the duck pond down the road but there isn’t much vegetation there... aside from grass.

It’s not illegal to own green anoles anywhere.It’s just illegal to sell wild caught ones without a license.They look great and I love your setup.

What kind of plants are you using? Are they real or fake, and if fake, how do you get them so... how do I put it... higher up in the cage, in the middle there?

Reason I ask is I have some fake plants in my tank’s setup but they’re the kind that are suction cupped to the side, so they just hang down along the sides. I tried to position some of the plant’s leafed ’branches’ along some bio-vines that are shaped within the cage, but it’s not covering the vertical space in the middle of the cage and it’s bothering me. I need something that will sort of fill in this middle gap, and your plants look like they either do that or have been positioned over something in order to.

i dont use fake plants i have philedondrons and a few spike plants but i really trhought those were all real at first... o and my suggestion to u twilight is try a twist tie if u have a screen top to let thm hang down ( cut off suction cups thats all i can think of... or if u have a solid top like me then suction it up there.... tell me how it works if this is any help... PS its my birthday 13 finally W00T
