Dark spot above anole’s eye

When I walked into the room a couple days ago,I saw that my female had a black spot ABOVE her eye.I understand that when an anole is stressed it retains a dark area behind the eye.Well to my observations for this issue I think that the male tried to mate with her and bite above the eye instead of the neck.Should I be concerned at all.I thank you for the responses in advanced.

I apologize for the inconvenience taken to reply to this specific thread, but after further research done, I’ve discovered that it is indeed a minor wound.My updated question is how long will it take for the wound to heal and is there a way that I can enhance the healing process?
