Escaped anole, help! If you search the Anoles forum for "escaped" (there’s a Search feature at the top of the page) you’ll find other similar posts and read what other people did to lure their anole(s) back.

Escaped anole, help! I always checked any warm areas in the house. If the cage was in the room, keep the door shut at all times. You could also put a dish of flour in the middle of the room and put some food(maybe those can o’ crix or something) in the center of the dish. Then when he gets hungry and goes for the food, he’ll step in the flour and leave tracks.

Escaped anole, help!
i found him! but he is so skinny hes been gone for 2days. i found him under my sisters bed slowly walking to the window but i got to him 1st then i fed him one cricket but he was so tired that he didnt want to open his mouth much. so i had to gently pry his mouth open with my fingers. he doesnt want to eat the 2nd one though. i put him in a bowl of shallow luke warm water for about half an hour and he turned bright green, but he barely moved he was so tired so i put himback in his cage and let him rest for hours occasionally checking him to make sure he wasnt dead,
