A heating pad (UTH) is not going to do any good. What are the environmental conditions in the enclosure? Temperature? Humidity? UVB fluorescent? etc?

The basking spot should be 90 degrees and there should be a temperature gradient from 75 to 82 or 83 degrees. There must be a temperatrure gradient to allow the Anole to thermoregulate. The humidity should be about 50%. Allow 10 gallons of space per Anole (minimum).
There should be sufficient plantings (real and/or artificial) for the Anole(s) to hide when they wish and branches for them to climb on. They do not like traveling on the substrate so make sure they can go from one side of the enclosure to the other without having to drop to the ground. For more specifics, read "Caresheet".
