 I need help

I have 2 anole lizzards and i have a green male and a brown female. i dont know if they would breed but i think that they did. So i guess i need to know how many they ususaly have and if i need to sepreate them.

Are you sure the female is a Brown Anole, and not just a green anole that’s turned brown?

Anyway, I did read that it is possible for brown and green anoles to mate, but if they lay eggs, they will be sterile, because they’re different species.

Quoted from another site, "I don’t recommend keeping them together any longer. While they are of the same genus, they are different species and use different body language and interaction between them will just end in stress. If you can, get another tank for the green anole and then either keep both of them alone or get the brown anole two females and the green anole a male and a female (if you keep groups, there should always be more females than males because a single female will be stressed out by the male). Or give away one of them, it’s really better for the animals."
