New anole-Blue phased!
I bought a new female anole today to add to my set-up and she is blue-phased. She is a magnificant creature. Can you breed a blue-phased anole with a regular green anole and get fertile eggs.

New anole-Blue phased! If you arent a professional breeder--dont breed them. There is too much that is required--2 males to a cage max---HAVE to seperate females from males to prevent inbreeding----ext..females can lay up to 12 eggs in one mating season.

New anole-Blue phased!
I know all the requirments I’ve had anoles for 3 years and been breeding for 2 I have 3 ( 20 gallon tanks) , 1 ( 10 gallon) 1 ( 5 gallon) and 1 (24 gallon custom made) only 2 are in use at the moment the 24 and a 20. It was the first time I ever got a blue-phased anole and I was wondering if they could breed. I have done research on their requirments. I plan to be a herpetologist one day, my uncle is a reptile vet.

She just had her first cricket yesterday since I’ve had her ( I got her saturday) She does not give the crickets a chance, she even beats my other female Lightning to the food. There’s a first time for everything I guess.

Anyone else got blue-phased anoles I’d like to see other pictures. My juliette is mostly green with a wide blue stripe down the middle of her back, I got her at country max in ontario.

New anole-Blue phased! Where in Ontario do you live?? I live in Ancaster. The blue isnt its own morph, its just a phase of the green anole lacking yellow pigment. They can be bred with normal greens, because that is all they really are.

I don’t live in ontario, my cousin does. I live in sodus. We go shopping on the weekends and go visit my cousin so we go to the ontario country max. Ontario is about a 35 min. drive from sodus.
