 HELP PLZ HURRY

i have a green anole named zolo. i have tryed to let her eat on her own, puting her in with the crickets, and holding them in front of her face. but she wont eat them! i dont like keeping the crickets in her cage because they burrow in the repti-bark. what should i do???

You will probably have to put the crickets in the cage. She is probably stressed out or distracted when you are around or when she is not in her own home. Don’t push her to eat and don’t try to force feed her, it will only stress her out more and make her less likely to eat.
If you are concerned about the crickets burrowing and hiding, don’t worry, they will come out and she will be able to find them. Or you could change the substrate to something more dirt-like so they can’t burrow at all. You could also try putting the crickets in a shallow dish. I haven’t really had much luck with this because they jump out, but smaller sizes might stay put.
Or change her diet to something that doesn’t jump & hide. Crickets are the most convenient though.

I say just throw them in. Anoles love to hunt for their food.

The crickets should be about half the size of the Anole’s head. You might want to try putting an appropriately-sized moth in the enclosure. Anoles can’t resist them.
