I’m thinking about buying some anoles is.....
Anoles are not very good starter pets but these are things you need to know. 1. Anoles need to be misted with water several times a day. 2.60 watt flukers bulb is a great choice for heating. LIGHT SHOULD BE ON ONE SIDE OF CAGE! temp for day is 80, 85-90 in basking spot, 65-70 at night. Don’t uses heat rocks or under tank heaters! 3.You’ll need a thermometer, and hydrometer. 4. they eat pinhead crickets. meal worms can cause death. wax worms are only good if your anole is too skinny. They have hardly ant nutrients just fat. They MUST be smaller than your anoles head. NEVER FEED YOUR ANOLE ANYTHING FROM THE OUTSIDE! 5.calcium supplements are a good way to get d3 into your anoles diet. 6. Clean the cage every 3 weeks. every week take out poo and debree. 7.They are dew drinkers so they won’t drink standing water so mist them several times a day. 8.check the thermometer and hydrometer to see if their needs are running low. If there is anything else I can do just let me know by replying back. Heather

I’m thinking about buying some anoles is..... lizard babe in the wild they find water by reflection from the sun so when i used to have anoles i just kept like half light and half shade under a stem and the would just reach down and drink so not all will just drink moving water or dew and if this is normal i want to know cause i think i just had super smart anoles lol

I’m thinking about buying some anoles is..... why wouldn’t it be normal?!Mine have always drunk out of a water bowl---they like the waterfalls--it attracts them more--but they will drink out of stangmant sources. misting helps to keep hydrated!!

Im thinking about buying some anoles is..... Personaly I would go with a leo first..a fifty dolar enclosure for a 6 dolar animal can be disappointing at times. Leos don’t need uv lights. Leos need less humidity, I just think they are easier and better "pets"
