HELP ME!!!! PLEASE!!!!! I’ve had my anole for about 5 months now. It is a male and is in a 10 gallon tank by himself. Recently, I have noticed very strange behavior with him. A few weeks ago, I couldn’t find him at all and had thought he managed to escape. I moved the furniture around, to find him halfway buried in the dirt underneath a log. I thought nothing of this and it didn’t happen again, until today. I couldn’t find him again, and turns out, he was halfway buried underneath the water dish. Is this normal? I’ve never seen this in the 5 months I’ve had him until now. Please help because I have no clue if this is normal or not.

HELP ME!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Temperature issue perhaps, or activity outside the tank could be stressing the lizard causing it to try to hide. Get a 20 gallon tall at least, put it in a quite part of your house, provide ample furnishings so it feels secure, and maintain a proper temperature gradient.
