? about a home made mister!! So , correct me if I am wrong. All a person would need would be a pond pump, sone tubing, and some sort of tip for spraying. The reason I want to make one is that I am not satisfied with my habba mister. The spraying is more or a stream than a mist. I know its not gonna be a fine mist but it is just a stream. Doesn’t matter how i Adjust it, just sprays a stream. I want something with a little more power and a better spraying pattern. especially I I am to keep a good humidity level in there new home.

? about a home made mister!! I see that the big apple mister uses a 55 psi high preassure piston pump. Now I just to find a pump like that. After that it will be pretty simple, except for finding the right tip.

? about a home made mister!! Here’s a few places I stumbled across recently.Automated Mister Misting tips Habba Mister Review I’ll be putting something together for myself within the month of Feb unless I can find the parts for really cheap right now. Although I still want to check out the features of the misters that are a little more expensive than the Habba Mister.

? about a home made mister!! Those were some good sites to visit. So if I can hook up to a garden hose I could probrably hook up to a plumbing line. I use pex tubing for my plumbing so it would be very simple to hook up. Then its just a matter of a timer and fittings. Something to think about.

? about a home made mister!! I wouldn’t hook it to any tap water unless you install a very expensive purifier. You can use regular garden hoses as the plumbing for the system by itself but you’ll still have to add either aged water or something that’s gone through purification like reverse osmosis. Using the wrong kind of spring water is risky if the bottlers leave in the bad minerals or even add more. Distilled water is best but adding something like electrolytes or a water conditioner to the water could be most beneficial for anoles and especially any small amphibians that may occupy the same tank or share the same misting system. Now that I’ve been thinking about it more I’m going to have to go check out Home Depot and Lowes for any of the different components.
