 Sick Anole

HI,
I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve been reading on here the last couple of days to get some ideas on how to help our sick little girl. We have 2 Green Anoles (1 male - Tucker and 1 Female - Emmy). We noticed a few days ago that Tucker was puffing up and perodically leaving his mouth open. We believed it was a respitory infection (been through that before with him). At the same time, Emmy started doing it too but to a lesser degree. However, other than the breathing, Tucker seemed perfectly normal. Emmy on the other hand started staying on the bottom of the cage which she never did before. She seemed to have lost her ability to climb and when picking her up or moving her, she seemed clumsy. So we started both on Anti-biotics from the Vet. It’s the same meds he gave us the last time Tucker had an infection. After research on here, we changed the UVB bulb after realizing we had used it too long thinking that might help her too. We’ve also redone their habitat to reduce the amount of mostiure in there. I think we had the substrate a little too wet to keep the humidity up. However none of this has worked. Emmy had stopped eating but would eat baby fruit from our hands the last few days. I’ve kept her misted to make sure she was hydrated. Can you wet their bodies too much? Last night I give her meds and tried to give her fruit and she wanted nothing to do with it so I put her to bed. I read on here about Repti-boost so I got some of that today and went home to give her some at lunch. I’m giving it to Tucker too because he isn’t eating his crickets. He took his just fine. While administering it to him, she moved and repositioned herself in the tree she was laying in. So when her turn came I picked her up and tried my best to get her to take some. She did but only because she was opening her mouth wide, seeming to try to breathe??? I would administer her a drop or two at a time until she took her dosage 2cc. I also wet my hand and let her lay in it to soak up some water as she looked a little dehydrated. Unfortunately, that all seemed to take the life out of her. She became most lifeless during that process and when I put her back in her house, she hasn’t really moved since. Breathing is really shallow and mouth is slightly ajar. I can’t figure out what is wrong with her and I’m about to the point that I don’t think I can save her. Does anyone have any ideas at all??? I’m afraid to even try to give her the meds tonight. Please help if you can.

This sounds terrible. I have one of my Anoles on reptiboost as well. Maybe call the vet again, there has to be an explanation for what is happening to her.
