2 Males, Strange Behavior in 2 Sep Tanks, Ideas? Had 1 male, brought home two new anoles. One Male one Female. Put all in one tank, two males fought (of course) over female until we got next tank set up. Separated 2 males into 2 different tanks, even put construction paper between the tanks so they can’t see each other...now it almost seems they SENSE the other one is close, even puffing up back and head spikes and flapping dewlap in each other’s direction. Can they "talk" to each other? Or they just claiming territory still? 1st anole never showed signs of any of this till we brought new ones home. Anything we can do to lower stress level for them?

2 Males, Strange Behavior in 2 Sep Tanks, Ideas? During breeding season, males will display almost constantly. Their territorrial displays are designed to ward off other males whether they can see them or not. As long as they are out of sight, the stress level is minimum.
