My anole cage has ants in it... totally my fault but i don’t know what to do about it... I would just clean the cage but Herculaneum just laid an egg and I’m hoping for more so i don’t really want to stress her out to much right now...any ideas?

The ants might eat the egg and start snacking on your anole. I think being eaten alive might be a bit more stressful. I think you could probably make this a one day cleaning. If you start early in the morning you could have her back in the cage by late afternoon. Just remove everything clean it with a large water to bleach ratio. Same with the tank. Put in new substrate. Wherever the ants got into your house spray poison. We’re actually getting our house sprayed today and my anoles are staying with the neighbors. ^_^

THANX! My tank has only a few in there now.. i think they were after the extra grasshopper legs..lol.. My uncle is having me put diatomaceous earth around the cage..so the ants will die long before they reach the egg.. YAY! Thanx again :)
