Need help with a tank setup

| Hey I’m getting 2 or 3 anoles today and I have a setup but I don’t know how great it is. I’ve read up as much as I could and still I’m not sure if its great. Its a 10 gallon with wood "fibers" (which are really just small wood chips). I have a little shelf a little more than half way up on the side as a basking shelf. I have a 10" hamster tube incase for some reason he desides he doesn’t want to be ’outside’. I have a 4" x 5" (1 inch high) tupperware container with water about 1.5 cm high. I also have 1fake branch in it with leaves comeing off so he has a way to get up to the basking shelf. Tomorrow I am getting a driftwood "playground" to put in from family. I also have a 100 watt light about 4-5" away from the basking shelf. Is that too close, will it cook them? Please help me out here! THNX! |

| I agree, you don’t need that high of wattage, so lower the bulb. You may want to place moss on top of the bark/chips to help maintain humidity levels. Enjoy Kachina |
