Try to put electrolytes in his water dish, which helps a sick or dehydrated anole recover quickly. How is his enviroment? Setup wise. your anole is quite possibly entering a shedding period. They wont eat when they are in pre-shedding/shedding. Make sure there is enough foliage for your anole to feel safe enough to hunt. Also make sure you aren’t feeding him too big of crickets, because some anoles get very belittled by food that is bigger than them!!!!Gut-load your crickets and dust them with a calcium suppliment to make sure that if he eats one, he is getting something healthy. ITS NOT ABOUT MAKING THEM LOOK FAT! that doesn’t mean they’re healthy. Put only 2 or 3 crickets in at one time---otherwise he might get scared. TRUST ME. some anoles have aggressive behaviours, others are much more subdued and laid back. Also go to any pharmacy and just tell them you have a sick lizard and you need the smallest seringe they have to try to feed him--usually they will give one to you for no charge.
Then get some strawberry baby food. Dab a tiny drog on his nose--usually they will lick it off--then repeat. This method is working with my anole, who currently sick with an infection. Persistance is the cure! If hes not drinking try using the seringe method. Nothing works better. Just be sure to get a small amount of water and add only a drop or two of electrolytes to it. DO YOU HAVE THE PROPER LIGHTING? Do you have him in a plastic or glass aquarium. HE NEEDS TO BE IN A GLASS AQUARIUM if you are using plastic, because glass keeps heat inside while plastic does not. And the heat required for an anole will melt the plastic as well.
Reply back quickly, and I will do the same if you have any more questions.
