 QUESTION....

hey i have a friend and he has two baby anoles that his male and female had and they are about 7 months old now. he wanted to know if they would still live if he let them go in the wild. i say they will die because once you put them in a tank like that you destroy their natural instincts what do yall think?

 QUESTION....

I can only give an opinion here. I say no you shouldn’t release them into the wild since being captive born. Besides where does your friend live? If it is up north where there are winters...they will die.

 QUESTION....

Depending on how healthy the anoles are when released and the quantity of food around your home, i would say you could release them, just make sure they’re well-fed when released and that there’s enough food outdoors for them to survive.

 QUESTION....

If your area has a cold winter, do NOT realease the baby. Only release it if you live in florida. Otherwise, it will never find a mate and die lonely, or it will not have a good enough habitat to thrive in.
