| misty, I wasn’t saying that you weren’t educated, I was saying that I want to be educated on anoles. Everyone, What I don’t understand is that people are suggesting I’m In humane because I have anoles in a false environment, but doesn’t everyone on this forum?? Second, the reason I did not buy my anoles from a pet store is because it was a last minute decision. My son and I were visiting my parents, and he wanted them. I did not want to buy from a pet store, and end up getting a sick one that died. He is young and I thought my chances at healthier ones would be from outside. I am all in favor of stopping animal cruelty, I just don’t understand why everyone is judging me when we all have anoles as pets. If you remember in my initial post, I was asking for help and advice about the green anole that’s now brown, but nobody responded to that part. The reason I responded to bob marley was because he said that my tank was too small and I wanted to let him know that it was just the angle of the picture. |

hmmm, so you found anoles from outside and keep them as pets. Thats okay, but to me i wouldnt do this. because at the petstores, they are breed. There you just took some living thing out of the wild, that was free, and now isnt. But who nos, your cage may be perfact for him, and he may love it, so im not judeing anything. But i would never do that. I would keep him as a pet maybe for part of a day, and then let him go, but its your choice, miranda |

| yeah umm sorry but it is my belife that if you want to stope inhumane and cruel treatment don`t get a lizard i mean because taking them out of there natural invironment is cruel to , And you do look like you take good care of them but i think they would have been better off in there natural habitat, but sence you have already got them you can`t let them go so good luck ! if you have any problems with ur anoles don`t hesitate to ask me i do know quite a bit about that species.Oh yeah and the reason that ur anoles is brown is because she is probally really stressed try opening her house and chasing them arround for a while and pretend to try and catch them this usually cheers them up !! |
