Questions.....please reply 
| I just traded in one of my male anoles today for what I thought was a girl. It is only like, a few months old, and its dewlap is yellow. My other male anoles dewlap is bright orange. But, of coursem he is a lot older. When I put her/him in the terrerium with my male, he jumped on her/him, and started going crazy. But, one reason I think the one that I just got is a boy, is because it had a small ridge raised up on its back, otherwise I think its a girl. What is it? |

| I have read that if the anole has a ridge on the top of his neck that it is male. |

| It was just a little bitty ridge along the back, otherwise, it seems like a girl? Do just girls have yelloe dewlaps? Because both of my males had bright red/orange dewlaps. |

yes females tend to have a dull dew lap however you never can tell i have a female and she has a red dew lap what you probally have is a female but it is kinda confusing because females usually don`t have or use the ridge along there back.( what that is for is to make the anole bigger than he looks kinda like intemadition!  |
