 Anole Help Quick!

I want to build a setup using clay or maybe even using dry-wall mud and then line it with plastic food wrap would this be ok for my green anoles?

Well, the clay sounds fine, but I’m not sure about the plastic wrap. If a little piece of it came off(the plastic wrap, that is) the lizard could ingest it and die.

Maybe you could just build it with drywall and then get some pieces of plexiglass cut for each side, and put them on the inside of the walls. Lowe’s Hardware will cut it to your specifications and it’s not expensive. What are you going to use on the top? Will you be able to find a screened top to fit it? I may have misunderstood, did you mean just to build something that will sit inside of your tank? If that’s what you meant, you can fill a box with damp sand, and hollow out the shape you want, then buy a small bag of the concret/quickcrete mix, and fill up your hollow mold. After it dries, rinse all the sand off. I’ve done this before to make my own rocks. Just remember that you don’t want the sand to be the shape of your rock, the rock will be the shape of whatever you hollow out in the sand.
