Is this strange?-need help 
you know how aquarium tanks have a ridge that goes around the top, well my female green anole keeps laying up there. In between the ridge and the lid. I still can’t tell if my brown anole is pregnant. I’m worried now because I read a post that said if you don’t have a heat rock, that their food will rot inside their belly. I took my heat rock out about a week ago, should I put it back? The brown one is still eating though. I’m putting the picture here again. Please help

Are you positive that anoles is a female? I had one that looked exactely like that one, with the white stripe and all, and it turned out to be a male. And were did you hear about the food rotting in there stomache without a heat rock? If that is true, (which it isn’t) how do anoles in the wild survive without heating stones? Don’t put it back in, it can burn their stomaches severely

my anole does this all the time
they like to hide up there to sleep , they also like
the nice tight fit
and dont worry its not preganant

heat rocks can be bad I have seen anoles with burnt feet do to heat rocks

Hey dont worry i use to breed brown and green anoles if you dont have a box or a place to hide they will hide in those tight spaces.Also dont put the heat rock back in it can cause severe injuries!!!Burns,ect...
