Are these diamonds? 
| If a brown anole has a diamond pattern down it’s back, then it’s female right? Can someone tell me if this is a diamond pattern. The white line on her back divides it, but the other side is exactly the same. Please let me know

| I wouldn’t be too sure about that. My anole had the exact same diamond pattern on its back, and it turned out being a male. It also had the white line down the back. It was a male, and I returned it to the petstore. |

| the sure way to know is to check for a dewlap under its chin, the males have them and females dont, this can even work for young ones some of the time. does it really have to do w/ the diamonds? |
