Little Bit 
OK I need some advice here!!!! Little Bit my baby Red Tail Boa is 21" and has NOT eaten since I’ve had her! I got her 8-14-04 The temps are good as well the water dish an hides. I’ve tried everythin but "she" shows NO intrest at all!
Concerned her because she is so small!!!!!

maybe quit handling it and forcing it in front of a camera. sorry to be harsh but you need to make the animal feel safe and secure and offer hides and good temps and humidity. it does not want the big omnivore to take it as a meal. try live in low low low light and hide yourself from the snake. just make sure the little HOPPER mice. not fuzzies or pinkies dont bite the snake. good luck.

OK! I was using this forum because I "know" people in here that have a RTB and wanted to get there advice! I had that picture taken the day I brought her home! I HAVE NOT OVER handled her!
The first time i tried to feed her and she refused i left her alone the FULL week after that for that reason! So BEFORE ANYONE starts "being HARSH!" GET ALL the facts!
BUT after the help and info that EVERYONE was giving me for Baby Boy I got stupid and came to the same place for help! I WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!!!!!
ROACHEY56 + EUNECTES4 I will use the correct forum and NOT LOOK for help in here for a snake that does not "belong" in here because it’s the wrong breed for this forum! I thought i could get advice here regardless of breed but I was WRONG!

hold on here fan of all caps. if you are not over handling then disreguard the first statement. no big deal. I would assume if you are not getting the snake to eat you would have taken a recent picture for us to get an idea. looks like the NYPD grip you are using would be stressfull for an already not eating snake. you are right and I am wrong I guess and I am sorry. I dont care if you post in here and I can tell you all you want to know about your snake if you listen and dont get all offended. read my post again, there is some good advice on how to try and get your snake to eat. just control your emotions this time and read what i said about low light and the size of the mouse. oh, and it is YOUR job to give all the facts when you ask a question. it would take a long time to keep asking every little thing since you got the snake. you need to provide history and you never stated how recent that picture was so it was my job to assume the worst so I could help you. if that is not the case then it is not a problem. how old are you? boababe is like 11 and she maintains a perfect and mature attitude in here and is learning a lot. I can tell from her posts over the last few months that she is a knowledge gaining machine and has a true love for animals. probably because she is 11 and doesnt assume she knows everything so she listens instead of deffending things that have no substance and will not help toward the solution to a problem.

by the way..looks at the photo. it looks like a stressfull cituation for a snake and you hands are covered in blood and it looks like the snake bit you a few times. That means the snake does not feel secure like I said and the way it is being held for that photo looks like you worked hard to FORCE it into position. once again, if I am wrong in some way and you got those cuts from fighting off a robber then just disreguard the statement and take in advice you can use. If I am correct in what the picture is saying to me....shame on you and you have nothing to defend and you might learn from this post that if a snake is biting you...it does not want you to eat him and it is scared and very stressed.

I’m defensive because of the fact that YOU were judging me without knowing the facts!
When people talk WITH me instead of AT me as you did I WILL get defensive.
I have NEVER acted as though i knew everything; If I did i wouldn’t have been asking for help now would I!
As far as the substance; NOT knowing ALL the facts you jumped!
As I said the picture was taken the day I brought her home! If you ever got off the pedistal you put yourself on you would have noticed that picture in my profile with the rest of the pictures!!!!

UMMMMM... Geee let’s see, I was drawing and I was useing inks and it got on my hand! So much for your theory of my snake biting me as much as you would have enjoyed that; or fighting off a robber!huh!
I have 6 snakes and NONE of them have EVER bitten ME!
If you have anything else to say to me as you KEEP ASSUMING; then send me a private message! I’m sure everyone does not want to see you voicing YOUR "Assumptions" at me as you have been!

is your snake eating yet. I dont know everything but I was trying to help you with your question. you honestly need to relax. I told you as I wrote those things..if the assumptions on the picture are incorrect then disreguard them and take the advice that will help you. I do not dislike you and you should like me for trying to help you dispite the fact I know you do not appreciate it. And like I said before..it is YOUR JOB to provide an expaination and it is the people answering your questons job to try and help. Sorry for trying to help you. People, if I am wrong please correct me and i will say I am sorry. If you think sweetness should relax and try feeding her snake a hopper in low light and leave the room when it finally strikes and takes..then tell this person that. By the way, I used to know everything but I forgot a lot of it so feel free out help me out on an issue as well : )

Go in the forum, and click "post New Message" than type you message, with a title like "Im new, help!" ANd you will get TONS of answers. No one is going to answer in all of these old threads. This one wasnt even about ball pythons.
