NOOOOOo..... Never handle a snake or try to feed it until at least 1 week after recieving it. I didn’t handle my blood python until 2 weeks after recieving it.

NOOOOOo..... you need to put cupid away. It will just stress him out, Ball pythons that you find at pet stores are not like the RTB’s you find at pet stores. BP’s are usually captive hatched, RTB’s are usually CB. BP’s are usually not feeding regularly, RTB’s aren’t. You should leave cupid alone for at least 10 days now.

NOOOOOo..... Why ask a question, if you are not going to exept the answer’s? It is very common knowledge that BP should not be help for the first week+If you want your BP, to be happy and stress free, just DO IT, ... I waited for 6 days, before bothering my BP, (other then changeing the water), and she is doing great, just ate her second fuzzy, and is going to shed soon. You’ve waited this long to get one, you should be able to wait a couple days!~

NOOOOOo..... sorry.. was a little harsh ... i know how you feel .. i held mine the first day i got her ... its just to tempting ... but then left her alone ... you will be more happy doing it that way, cause it would be more stressfull haveing a non-eating BP ...Good Luck, and congrates on the BP

NOOOOOo..... dont make me regret this post folks. I have NEVER had a problem with handling..some snakes have been handled for a very long time and some have been carried around and in my pockets (if i am somewhere i do not want people to see them). I know what i am doing and i pay attention to my snakes and I do not restrict their motion. boababe if you want to hold your ball python after 2 or 3 days...go for it and just keep a close eye on things. but listen..if your snake does not eat or something goes wrong...think hard about your handling habbits and try and figure out the problem and stop the handling right away.

NOOOOOo..... I know, I thought it was OK to hold your snakes so they can get used to being handled. He has already eaten so the handling didnt effect him. It isn’t a crime to hold a snake the day you get them and feed them the day after. It isn’t recomennded but he ate fine and I think thats more important than feeding too early.
