Petshop Junkies? 
hey, I always just go down to the petshop just to look most of the time I walk out with nothing but a smile from seing all the snakes....so when we got my BP we met another "petshop junkie" lol he just went in just for the joy of looking at the snakes! anyone else do this? it drives my mom nuts cus I always ask to go to the petshop lol....half of my week is spent there! lol ANYONE ELSE ONE?

My girlfriend trys to steer me away because we already have a zoo at our house.
I don’t buy pets at petshops but I rescue unwanted or mistreated reps and others. But i still can’t help go in.

i love looking at all the reptiles and amphibians! i usually end up talking to some of the other customers. usually people are really friendly and they’ll give you good advise.

I need to stop going in there! Everytime I go in there it ends up costing me! LOL #7 is a red tail boa that’s about 3’ long! I have it on lay-a-way so i can get a tank big enough for her! LOL See what I mean?! I keep this up and Paula will kill me and feed me to my babies!!! LOL

Yes im definatley a ’petshop junkie’!!!! i love going in there and looking at the herps! mt mum doesnt like going in there because aprently it smell but i think tht just her excuse!
the only problem with going in there is tht we always walk out of the shop arguing or not tlking atall because of it lol!

yup today i had gone to a local pet shop and the owner had a 8 foot burm around him and he let me hold it , i had it around me and boy it was beutiful i took it off after it started wraping around my leg but all in all it was great and im purchising a bp soon probly tomrowwo

I found a real treasure of a reptile store yesterday, It’s a tiny little place, I had seen their ads in the little mountain paper we get, but I couldn’t find the place before. I’m so glad I found it! The owner is really nice and has been in the business a long time. I asked a bunch of questions to find out how qualified he is. Every time I turned around, I noticed another animal I hadn’t seen before- he’s really made optimum use of the tiny space. I’m not a fish person, so I think he wasted a lot of space with a bunch of aquariums and fish supplies, I’ll probably get blasted for that! (I do have one fish, I’m not against them, they’re just not my thing). Anyway, he had some brand new baby snakes tucked away, I had to ask, and he brought them out. So today I’m going back to get the beautiful apricot morph of a mexican kingsnake. I am so much more a snake person than anything else. Grendel and Lillie are a big learning experience for me, but I feel comfortable with most any snake. Can’t wait to go get her!!!!! Since she bit the crap out of me and peed on me, it’s like we’re already buddies. I think she’ll tame down quickly, she’s very very young, maybe 10" long, smaller around than my pinkie finger!
