Is it ok to help? never help any reptile shed. It can severely injur them. Make sure the humidity is around 70-75% during shed cycles and the cage is misted once or twice a day. During non shed cycles the humidity should be 50-60%.

Is it ok to help? unshed eyecaps, and areas around the cloac can be helped. But other than that the other pieces of stuck shed will either come off on their own or at their next shed.

Is it ok to help? Well, once the end of Mosi’s tail didn’t come off and I was told not to help. Well it never came off (till next shed) and then I read that it can cause bone damage or something to do with the tissue in there tail. So last shed the tip didn’t come off and I had to help so I pulled the little tip off, he didn’t mind at all. Is this OK? Because sometimes his just doesn’t come off. And since last time it never came off, I didn’t want him to lose tissue and have a deformed tail, so I helped. Was this OK?

Is it ok to help? he probably would not have had a problem but it can cause skin issues expecially if the cage is not perfectly clean. Soak them and be gentle and it is no problem. I have helped many snakes with dry sheds...keep your humidity high and there will be no problems : )

Is it ok to help? make sure it isn’t constantly high as that can cause MUCH worse issues than stuck sheds. Keep it at 50-60% except during shed then bump it to 70-80%, also regular soaking (once a week) does wonders. Since i started soaking my herps (’cept my crested) they have all had perfect sheds every time.

Is it ok to help? high humidity is rarely a problem with balls and burms. They need the extra as they have many dry sheds in captivity. 60 is not bad at all. during the last few days of shed cycle i would go above 80 actually. Humidity is usually not a problem but keeping a damp substrate is an issue that can be very bad. take caution with all husbandry issues and if you see signs that something may be wrong...think hard and post on here
