Cloudy eyes that wont go away
I have had my snake for four years and its left eye has been cloudy for two and half years. I thought it went away with shedding. The right eye sheds fine, but the cloudyness of the left eye wont go away. Is this normal? If not what should i do?

Cloudy eyes that wont go away It probably hasnt shed its eyecaps properly. You need to make sure that it is because it hasn’t shed one of its eycaps properly. Once you make sure this is the problem, Soak him in some lukewarm water and gently try and peel the eyecaps off. If this isn’t the problem he is either blind in one eye, or is scarred from a rat biting it. Thats all I can think it would be.

Cloudy eyes that wont go away when I got Baby Boy he was in rough shape from his last shed. His left eye did NOT shed the way it should’ve, MY VET suggested to apply mineral oil on the eye and for me NOT to try and pull it off myself that I could do more damage to his eye. Put some mineral oil on a q-tip and gently put it on his eye. I did that with Baby Boy and it’s helping him as his shedding repairs it as well. Good idea though BoaBabe! The soaking in the tub will also help!
