hmm well tht idea had crossed my mind!!lol!!
ppl have bben saying it’ll be ok 2 keep a checkerd garter in the tank below so i may sewtup the tank up and everything come home with the garter and when she finds out, she’ll go crazy hopefully not bother taking it back. then i’ll leave it a few months then ask her if i can get a ball see wot she ses hopefully yes because she’ll propbably no i’ll just get 1 ne way lol!the only problem is getting to the retile shop 2 pick 1 up the only way i can get there is with my mum :S This tank will only be used until the baby checkerd will need a new 1, iasked the ppl on the garter forum and they think it’ll b ok until the garter gets bigger!

if you really wanna have a BP dont go through all the trouble of getting the garter. Do you have an older Bro/Sis that can drive you? Is it close eneough to ride a bike? What about your dad? (my appologies if they are seperated or something, im just thinking of suggestions.) Grandma/Grandpa? Whens your B-day? (wondering, because you might could ask for one for you bday)or X-Mas or something.

Thnks 4 the suggestions! i really like the garters 2! i frt it may be better 2 get the garter because it wont b as shocking lol! and r easier 2 care 4 i reckon. my birthday is october!! i’ve been asking 4 a snake or lizard since i was like5-6years old! so i dnt reckon they’ll let me ;( my dad wont take me up there i fink my dads on my mums side! my grandparents wont take me either! lol! my sis is only 9 lol! so she cant take me!
I could go with my mum because she sometimes stays in the car but im gunner have 2 put the snake in the boot or something she’ll see tht i’ve gota plastic case in a bag!! i’ll just have 2 say its a bigger tank for our GALS(Giant African Land snail) lets just hope she doesnt ask to c it!
Theres another problem the reptile shop is about a mile away frm my mum and dads buisness!! so they could jus drop it back on the 2 wrk :S
ne more suggestions??

put it in yoru pocket. then when you get home put it in the tank. When she finds out. Start crying and tell her that you have alwasy wanted one and they had one and you couldn’t resist. And that she would never let you get anything you wanted. Or, you could just put it on her face in the middle of the night! HAHA just kidding. or....order it online and it will be shipped ot the door.. (make sure you and your mom are there) and then you will be like WHAT? where did this come from...OH cool mom! a Ball Python! I have alwasy wanted one! thanks for getting it for me!! and then she can’t take it back because she’ll fel so bad.

OR she will MAKE you take it back, and that would be very sad. Plus, sneaking it into the housewould be a risk for the snake’s health, which is very delicate at that point in their lives. Plus, you might be tempted to try to keep it hidden in the house, and that would probably lead to conditions that would not be best for the snake. Plus, you would still have to get food for it often. Too many reasons not to try something like that.Instead, become very educated about having and caring for such a creature. This is a good site, and there are many others that can offer care tips, advice, and friendly people there to give help and testimionials (personal stories). If you are passionate about it, show them you are serious, maybe show them some stories from other people on this site and elsewhere, they will consider it. You might have to wait for your birthday or something, but the wait would be worth it.

I dont want to sound nasty or rude or anything, i apreciate wot u r saying but i wouldnt hide the snake i would have it in my room on view, i understand wot u mean by the journey frm the reptile shop 2 home. i can get the food for it because i keep fire bellied toads and have to pik up there crix like every week or so. thnks 4 ur opinion though, could u give me ne more advice?

it all depends on why your mom dosent want you to get a snake there are ways getting around it deals and stuff like good grades and if you dont do that great in school make her sign a contract that you made on the computer so there cant be any exeptions

you guys, I was joking about the pocket thing, the put it on her face thing, and the shipping thing. I suggested the grandparents/sister/brother/dad because if they took him to get it and went in with him they could stick up for him and say they bought it for him. But otherwise just persuade them. If the reason yoru mom is scared of the snake then I wouldn’t get it till you talk to her (although she would be scared to touch it...lol) If the reason is that your mom just does’t want another pet then show her you can take care of it. make good grades, do chores, if there are dishes that need to be done just be like mom do you want me to do the dishes? And take very good care of your other pets. Start saving up money. I never really tld my mom I wanted to get a BP[but she has no problem with reptiles]and I just saved upi liek 35$ and talked to the strictly constrictors guy. Then I told her I had money and I wanted a BP she gacve me 15 dollars and got me one. But it sounds like it isn’t that simple with your parents. Just doodle over all of the paper you can find and write ~*Ball Python*~ or something. And if you make good grades, do chores, take care of your pets, and keep your room clean. They will see how much you really want a Ball Python, and since you have made good choices etc. they might let you get one.
what does every one think of Cupid? it kinda got off topic...lol

What if it got out and your mom didn’t know you had one and she got scared and well you fill in the blank. just trying to help you NOT get heart broken.
Try and show your mom YOU can be responsible for the snake. 
LOL I wasn’t allowed to have any either when I was a kid! LOL Now I have 6 soon to be 7 snakes.

Yea i understand wot u mean, ok so mayb i wont jus get it i’ll jus keep dropping hints. I really! really briefly spoke 2 my dad just now, the convo strted because my lil sis is vegatarian and my dad had a chicken sandwhich she was complaining saying it was cruel.
My mum and dad were saying it wasnt cruel because we’re meat eaters etc etc.
So i sed 2 my dad when he was on his own how come mum doesnt mind having dead chickens in the freezer but does mind having pinkies in their? i sed do u think its cruel?
He sed no i dnt fink its cruel i just fink it’s un hygienic, so i frt of an answer 2 tht and sed their wrapped in bags and are then in boxes then he kinda sed
’er..well... then ended the convo!!
so i think if i can find ever reason y they r good pets i may slowly strt getting them more persuaded.
I’ll probably have 2 end up buying a seperate mini freezer or sumthing but its gunner take a wile to persuade them if they can b persuaded!! :S
