I dont have a digi cam so I can’t really take more pictures....btu I think the last picture of him in my moms hands shoul dgive you pretty good porportions..... No he has never bit me, and it would probably feel like a pinch. They aren’t any more nippy when young then they would be when grown (which they arent when full grown soo) I will send more pictures.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? Boababe, I’m convinced your baby is a bit bigger than 14 inches. Yours looks about the same size or a bit smaller than my 3 month old baby, and she measured in at roughly 21 inches a week and a half ago. So if you didn’t know the age of your bp roughly, I’d estimate around 3 months. Zenn, I’ll see about answering some questions for ya. Baby bp’s can be sold at very young ages. All depending on the person selling it. Some can be sold at a week old..others months old. Most breeders and people who know what they’re doing won’t sell a bp until they’ve done their post-hatch shed, and successfully eaten atleast 2-3 times to ensure a good healthy appetite is present. I received my baby bp at 2 months old. She was born June 8th of this year, and I received her August 23rd...right around when she was turning 3 months old. Currently she is roughly 21 inches long, and hatchlings are usually around 14 inches. I have a pic of a fresh hatchling in a mans hand. Use the hand as a reference. It’s just an average adult sized hand.

Hope I’ve helped, and if you need any more help you can email me if you wish: serpential.wonders@gmail.com -Cody

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? Pelota, I measured my BP. And I have a 24inch redtail boa that is a little less than twice as big. He is 14-15inches. NOT 21.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? BoaBabe...you don’t need to sound so mad about it. I just thought that in my opinion, and from what I seen in the pics, your bp would be longer than just 15 inches. Whatever though, that’s fine. I’m sure you know everything already. Maybe you have tiny tiny hands or something and it made the snake bigger. Whatever..

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? Pelota’s BP is 21inches or something. Mine is the 14 inch one. Well, he doesn’t look that big, but I measured him, and it was somewhere between 12-14inchs.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? The bp I posted was a pic of a hatchling. So yeah it was around 14 inches long. That’s not my pic. Just one I’ve collected on the net over time. My bp is twice that size probably.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? hey, boababe.... where’s your safe hide?? i see a barrel with holes in it. it’s not even dark... you really think your BABY bp feels safe in something like that?do you even have a warm/cool side? you should really think about getting a better hide... even if its a cruddy wal-mart flower pot base :)

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? Cruddy walmart flower pot base? Those flower pot bases you speak of are the best hides you can get. They’re snug, low to the ground, and heavy so the snake feels nice and secure.I agree though. I just noticed now that boababes cage doesn’t seem to have the usual warm hide and cool hide for thermoregulation. I assume theres some sort of hide under all those leaves, but that barrel thing..I dunno what its for, lol.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? I dunno...they look pretty in my cage. Blends in well with reptibark. And they dont take up as much space as your huge, horrible hides you use. What snake would feel secure in a big tall flower pot with a hole in the top? Pfft..

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? Disregard what I said about Super_Smashes hides everyone. I made her sound like a loser who can’t take care of her snakes properly. I was an a-hole for joking around. Didnt wanna make her look like some idiot. So nevermind.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? Super Smash, my safe hide is under those leaves. Its super safe. Its a hide, with leaves surrounding it. And then every night when he cojmes "exploring" he comes and plays on the little thing with holes, then he goes back in his hide.

Baby ball pythons. How big are they? I think she was mainly wondering where your two hides are, since usually it’s best if you create a heat gradient with a warm end and a cool end, with both ends having atleast one hide so they can thermoregulate themselves.
