RTB V’s BP???? Most RTB’s max out at a little under 9’ (most stay under 8’ for big females). Ball pythons max out at around 6’, and usually stay between like 3.5’ and 5’. also ball pythons are much harder to maintain than red tails. Most red tails will eat frozen like there is no tomorrow, many balls wont even go near prekill.

RTB V’s BP???? Ok, I have both. The general humidity, and temperature is pretty much the same. Basically they have the same type setups, with the BP’s hot side being like 2degrees warmer. They are both very easy to take care for. My BP is more curious then my RTB (meaning Mosi sits still, and cupid is mostly climbing all over me)But that’s because I’ve had Mosi for like 8 months, and Cupid for almost a month. Both are great. It just depends what you like. If I had to get rid of one of them...I wouldn’t do either. I can’t say wich one I lke best, because I love them both. Most redtails get about 71/2ft. and Most ballpythons about 41/2ft. It really depends on what you think. If you have been reading up alot on ball pythons, and then decide to get a redtail boa, you could probably just get the redtail and care for it as you would a BP. They are so close in care. It is always good when you get a snake to get the "_______ Manual" as in the BP manual, or RTB manual. It just depends. But, I can tell you that your parents will rather you have the BP, since they dont wat you getting a snake, because it is smaller. But if you want a redtail, get it.
