 Juma Is Getting BIGGER!

Since the beginning of this past summer. He was a rescue so I am not sure how old he is, but he has grown in length and girth quite a bit.

 Juma Is Getting BIGGER!

I am an animal care provider. I work with dogs, cats, reptiles, you name it. I am a dog walker, but alot of people refer others to me because they know I will take them in.
Usually I will get them vy word of mouth or see them in a rescue group that has too many animals to handle. I have a good reputation for getting them rehabilitated.
Getting a rescue that is alredy rehabilitated is easy too. Go to Craigslist.com and you can search by state, and animal breed. Also Petfinder.com has alot of reptiles. If you are close to NY you can try Sean Casey’s Animal Rescue. Also you can search on google and type in animal rescues in your state and usually a list of sites will come up.
Hope this helped a bit.
Good luck

I meant to ask how many years you’ve been doin it and how old you were when you started, not how old you are now

 Juma Is Getting BIGGER!

hi Hapa,
I have been doing this for about 3 years now.
I should tell you though that in most states it is a good idea to get a permit and some require you to pay for a licence. I am no vet, so I never take on an animal that needs serious medical attention.
Mostly I take in undernurished snakes, lizards. Snakes will bit wounds who are already done with the medical aspect and now have to deal with the pyschological part-like refusing to eat for fear of their food.
Anyway if you are interested in doing this kind of work (which by the way costs money (no one hands out $,when they are healthy however I ask for a adoption fee to cover a small part of what I actually spent).
Over all it’s the best feeling in the world.
I was 26 when I started.
