Bp housing a 40/30 breeder (36" by 18") will house ball pythons (and many other pythons/boas) up to 6’ in length. They are really the only aquarium that has the correct width (18") to house anything over like 2.5-3 feet in length.

Bp housing Well, I have an 80gal. And I beleive the price is about....hmm.....$120.00 and we had to have someone custom make a lid because when we bought ours they didn’t have any lids...but now they do..the dimnsions are like 48x17x28 or something like that.

Bp housing My advice is, dont buy a tank!! Get them from garage sales. I got amy 55 gallon long glass tank for 5 dollars, and it does have a dull black trimming. It has nice fake oak trim. You can find a lot at garage sales. Ge this, I’m getting this 250 gallon tank for free. A dentist use to have it in his office now he doesn’t need it. He says that its taking up to much room, so hes giving it to me. Ask around, you’ll come up with something. I have heard that a 20 Long tank works very well for a full grown ball python. Or a 30.

Bp housing A 20 long is a bit small for a full grown ball. On the many caresheets I have read from google, they recomend something around a 75gallon. But many people on this forum swear that 40gal breeders work perfectly.

Bp housing They do work fine. Ball Pythons aren’t known for utilizing all the space too often, so really you can house a ball python in a 30-40 gallon breeder quite nicely. They’ll still have plenty of room to explore at night. My advice though, is if you can, try and stay away from glass tanks. They’re a bit harder to get the temperatures and humidity right, and are a b!tch to clean, lol. If you can, try and find a good sized(3x2 foot?) rubbermaid or sterilite storage container for your adult ball python. Add some airholes, newspaper substrate, a few hides, a branch, water bowl, heat pad, and voila. You’re done. :) Plastic cages like rubbermaids and stuff are better for heat and humidity, and the price is right.
