Introducing Rashid. I did try and hold off.
I wanted to give him a week before I posted pics... but *meh* I have no impulse control. One guess as to what he is. Sunday when I brought him home.

I still have moments of realizing I bought a snake in full shed. But I think he has great flames, so it will be interesting to see the belly colour and blushing when he sheds. I think he will be a low-blush, but as long as i have the flames and the head spot I am happy. He is a proven genetic, so it is all good. And yeah... a very proud daddy. This will be a looooooooooooong few weeks. I have decided to give him two feeds and three weeks acclimation. Except other than a photo op when he sheds. My smallest and youngest BP to date. :) Me |

Yeah, I did not really think of that till later. But I had handled two BPs that were more expensive, and half the price before I got to this guy. The other two, one had great blushing, and a perfect yellow belly, but no flames... the other had *good* flames, no blushing, but and a perfect white stomach. They had proved out genetic in that they reproduced themselves, but I was not that comfy that they had not produced an ivory yet. But I loved Rashid’s flames so that was enough for me. The sides were pretty classic, so I hope the belly has some nice color. I think he was produced from an ivory cross to another dom or co-dom. I actually used Franky’s Riordan as my guide. The sides were close enough and classic enough to sell me. Quote: how old is he?

Yep. He sure is. I had planned on getting one or two, but the earliest I had it planned for was late this year, so getting one at the price that I thought was fair, and a nice looking one was a great pick-up. Bruce |
