WOOT....rats came today........ Well today the rats from rodentpro.com arrived. They were packed EXELENTLY and had like 4 layers of insulation for minimal dry-ice (frozen carbon-dioxide) usage. All the rats are high quality and are not dirty. The box was clearly labeled with a warning about dry-ice. All in all two thumbs up.

WOOT....rats came today........ Yep rodentpro have some good prices. Although with me being in canada, it’s a bit difficult for me to order from rodentpro with the exchange rate and shipping and stuff. For the longest time I’ve been looking for a good canadian feeder site, and the other day I finally found one. Their prices are pretty good, and much cheaper than the pet store I’ve been getting my rodents at up till now. Here’s my order, you tell me if it sounds like a good deal.5 adult mice 10 weanling rats 5 small rats total= $25.25 mice4you.com Haven’t ordered it yet, so not sure how good they are. But their site looks pretty decent for a mom and pop operation, and the prices seem right. I just gotta wait till the end of the month for a bit of money to place the order. Even with shipping, I’ll be saving money. At the pet shop in town, an adult mouse is 3.50, and small-large rats are like 6-8 bucks. Damn ripoffs, lol.

WOOT....rats came today........ Well boababe..I did not mean to blow up my hand lol. Anyway. you put pieces of dry ice in a plastic bottle (this was a large 2 litter (bigger bottle usually means bigger boom!). then you add water and close it tight and walk away. They usually take a while to explode. when the dry ice turns to gas the bottle expands and the slower the better and when it reaches too much tension...BOOM. If they do not explode you can sometime throw something at it to set if off but NEVER go pick them up or you could lose a counter lol.

WOOT....rats came today........ just use a hammer and a skrew driver and break it into small chunks that can fit in your bottle...put like 2 inches or so of dry ice in and fill it a little less than half way with water and enjoy..you will get the best mixture after a few tries.

WOOT....rats came today........ the bigger ones usually take longer and it all depends on how much gas per space and how hot the water is and how much the plastic can stretch. sometimes its like 30 seconds sometimes its almost an hour. Just remember just because it does not go off in an hour does not mean it will not go off..it might just need a little touch. 50 ft is more than safe. unless you are being dumb and blowing up glass bottles or putting dangerous things in the bottles. It honestly is fun enough without this stuff so dont make it more dangerous. I blew up a glass bottle oce and it really is not a good idea. i have never put anything in the bottles though...thats dumber than picking them up.
