New Handler I myself usually only handle my bp during the evening/late hours when they’re awake and exploring. She seems less resistant and "agitated" when I’m not waking her up just for handling, lol. No matter what time it is when I go to get her out though, she is a bit jumpy until I get her out of her cage. She’ll flinch away from my touch at first, then realize it’s me and she’ll be fine after that.As for how long to handle them, it’s up to your snake really, lol. Usually they’ll have their own ways of letting you know when it’s time to go back. Mine will get squirmy, where she won’t stay still no matter how you hold her. But she’s pretty good for handling. For instance, tonight I had her out and my sister and I sat on my bed hanging out with Pelota for about an hour or so. She was only "squirmy" when I tried getting her in the small rubbermaid container to weigh her after handling, lol. She gained 30 grams since last feed, btw, lol.
