 HELP!!!!
My dad got out our ball python, (male) and then put him back and got out the female....we found an egg in her cage that was smashed! i checked for any others and didn’t find any, but can anyone help with what’s going to happen anytime soon? I’m looking in a book we bought, and online, but is it normal for them to just lay one at a time?

They are not currently housed together, but have been before. Voodoo (the female) is approx. 34 inches, and Kaa (the male) is approx. 32 inches. I’m not positive of age on either.

Was it just one egg? They are too small to have babies, unless she is eggboud and that is the only one that could come. How long ago were they housed together?

They’ve been in the same cage for about a month or so, only being seperated from fridays to mondays so they could eat alone and digest alone...last she was in with him was friday at about 4:30 pm, theyve been seperate since.

Keep them seperate.  Other than breeding purposes, there is no reason to house bp’s together. I don’t understand why you risk such stress with moving them around like that. Are you saying you have seperate enclosures just for feeding and digestion? So they’re together on weekends, then the whole week is in another enclosure for eating and digesting? Weird...just keep them seperate and you don’t have to hassle like that.
