 My New Plan!!!!!!

Hey, well, I did want a blood python, but it was 130$ and a l.ittle over my budget. So, they have a 3ft. long tame BP at the petshop, and it eats well, and i know it is tame because when they got cupid out of the tank they had to move it, because they were all snuggled up together! It’s 99$, but I have bought 1 Leopard Gecko 39$, 1 redtail boa 130$, and one ball python 70$ there, and we buy all of our crickets and mice there. I’d say we are pretty good customers! We have been buying all of our animals and supplies there since they were open. So I think we could get a discount on her, 1.) because they have been in the petshop for about 6 months now, and no one wants to buy adult snakes (except for me because I am fascinated with size) 2.)because we buy EVERYTHING there.

So my plan, is to get that snake, and put it in the 80gal. Then, I am done with snakes for a while (we’ll see). And I want o get and AFTG. Then, I know the snakes I have will eat frozen thawed, but if this one will I am going to buy from rodentpro.com and going to get 25 small rats, 15 weanling mice, and 25 adult mice. Does this sound like a good plan? I wonder how much it would cost. I’ll see. Tell me what you think of my plan.

Super Ball Python? I’ve only heard them being called Ball x Blood hybrids...or more commonly; blood ball. Not a good thing to get into unless you’ve bred before and know your stuff. I think hybrids can come with complications.

Hybrids do come with complications...But I have been breeding snakes for over 15 years. I am personal friends with a few well known breeders who can help me out in a pinch...

What do you mean you can’t get the prices from rodentpro.com? They list the prices of their mice or rats right on the page. They even provide pictures of the rodents for size reference so you know what you need for your snakes. If you mean you don’t know what it’ll cost all together unless you’re buying...you haven’t looked through rodentpro.com too well then. They have an online quote feature.

Online Quote

Rodent Pro is definitely one of the best sources for feeders online. Well, in the US anyway. It’s too much of a hassle for me to order them from Canada. That’s why I went and discovered this place. I think of it as Canada’s rodent pro. Their prices are some of the best I’ve found in Canada.

 My New Plan!!!!!!

You lost me in this so called plan?!?! Are you talking about getting your snake cheaper? Or buying the stuff from rodentpro? If you MIGHT get the snake cheaper it’s not really a plan. It’s up to them to let you get it cheaper. So it’s more you wanting it to be a lower price not a plan. And the rodentpro website list the price as many mentioned above. So if you want to buy stuff from them do so. There well known and pretty good from what I have heard. But I don’t see how it’s a plan. You either buy from them or don’t...And the same with the snake, they either give it to you lower or not... Sorry!

 My New Plan!!!!!!

wait....so lets clear some things up. You WANT a blood python..to expensive. You also WANT a pall python you saw there correct? So you plan on getting the bp and putting him in an 80gallon tank correct? Is that your plan? i have no idea where all of this getting a snake cheap came from. But from what I read it sounds like a plan and makes sense to me!

 My New Plan!!!!!!

Just wanna say that an 80 gallon tank sounds like it could be too big for a ball python. Unless you’re going to load it with hides and branches and leaves and cool stuff like that. Then that’s a plan.

 My New Plan!!!!!!

If the snake’s around 3 feet long, then I wouldn’t suggest a 20 gal. Might be a bit snug. I can imagine how crowded it’d be for those things if there’s two of them in a 20 gallon like that..

A 30 breeder would be good, but if you must use the 80 gallon, I’m sure it’d be fine. As long as you crowd it with hides, branches, greenery, stuff to make it look less open and more secure.

ok....idk what i’ll do.....while i was at school the ’rents did some herp rearanging, the gecko and BP are in my room, and Mosi is in the 80gal. That leaving a 20gal. left. I can either put mosi back in the 20gal....or put "uegene" inthe 20gal.
