 Balls having a pink tummy

what does it mean if your snake has a pink tummy my firends friend has two balls and tey both have pink tummys and i cant find anything on the internet about that?

How long has your friend had these particular snakes and how long has she/he been keeping snakes?

I ask this as it probably just a snake going into shed... their stomachs turn pink, then they go blue, and then they clear up, then they shed... they do this regularly, so if your friend has had these snakes for less than 6 weeks, then they may not have seen this process yet.

Pink belly can also be a burned snake... but without a whole lot of info on their set up and husbandry that is hard to know.

And in my experience... asking a third party to relate husbandry information results in a lot of confusion.

PS: perhaps your friend should log on and ask for this information? That is part of being a responsible snake keeper. Especially when keeping pythons, they require very specific care to be healthy

thank you for the info they are her first snakes and she has only had them a few weeks she has no clue what she is doing thats why they called us asking but i have never seen my ball do that when she sheds

haha Scylla, I do not know how many times I have seen pictures of that book on posts. Everytime people log on the picture of that book should float around on the screen. That is a good book though. They should just start including it with the purchase of a BP.

I already include a detailed caresheet with every snake I sell. And included with each caresheet...I list recommended books and where someone can buy them.

And that book is on my list of recommended books for new owners.
