 I Dnno What has Happend To my royal...plz go here

hi, my snake hasnt been eating for about 6 weeks and we have tried alot of methods but he still isnt eating.
he has been at my mums house for a little while and i have just got here and his belly has gone a brownish colour and feels greacy
its in the middle of his belly
can someone plz give me some advise
he hasnt stopped eating for this long before
we are about to call the blue cross, i dont no if they will no anything so can you people help me as your the experts

well to start 6 weeks without eating is nothing i have a bp that has not eaten for me in 3 months and he still has not lost a gram =p. Before we can help you, you need to tell us your husbandry how big is the tank temps humidity bedding age of snake how big is ur snake etc.

It could be a belly burn or scale rot. Either way, it would be a good idea to get rid of your substrate and put the snake on some clean paper towels instead. Make sure there’s plenty of places to hide etc. We really need more information to go on before we can give proper advice. Pictures, information about the tank, the size and substrate, what kind of heat you’re using and the snake’s behavior etc.

Go to a qualified veterinarian who deals with reptiles on a regular basis.. Why would you call the Blue Cross?

When you own an animal, you take it to the VET. This is one of those instances warranting a vet visit.

Find an herp vet NOW and make an appoinment.

In the meantime remove the substrate and replace it by some clean paper towel.

We have called the blue cross and got numbers of herp specialists
thankyou loads for your advise
there not in there usual viv at the moment because i just got back from holiday so there in tub tipe things
the brown bit in the middle of his belly is kind of sticky

i will find the temps for you soon

Please describe these "tube type things", or post pics.
